Aquatic exercise has many health benefits, such as improved heart health, reduced stress, and increased endurance and muscle strength. Exercising in water is a great way to add physical activity to the lives of our young adults with special needs.

We believe in the power of music to enrich lives, foster self-expression, and promote holistic well-being, and we are eager to bring the healing and transformative benefits of music used as a therapy to this deserving population. Our percussion ensemble group is designed to serve as a therapeutic session for each of the participants of our project.
Tuesdays from 10:00 to 11:00 am .
As a part of our life skills program our staff and volunteers take the young adults with special needs to different locations by walking distance in our community.

As part of our social skills and physical improvement program our young adults with special needs are included in Zumba classes. These classes are:
Wednesdays & Fridays form 9:30 am to 10:30 am.
As part of our social skills improvement program, our Illuminators participate in pool game activities with the center's community members.

Mindfulness is a style of thinking that helps people manage their thoughts and feelings. Using the powerful tools of visualization and declaration, our young adults with special needs can reduce stress by having “significant increases in positive affect and awakening awareness.
Monday to Friday from 10:45 am to 11:15 am.
Every Wednesday our young adults with special needs are included in all the community special events. These activities help them improve their social skills.
Wednesdays from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm
On the first Friday of the month we have a special friendship lunch to celebrate love and happiness.
1st Friday of each month
As part of our life skills program, we offer our Illuminators a cooking class once a month.
2nd Friday of each month
Once a month our Illuminators are taken to different places of interest chosen by them. This is part of our social skills development program.
3rd Friday of each month
